What is Citrix Workspace? 
Citrix Workspace provides secure access to virtual apps, desktops, and other resources through features such as single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and end-to-end encryption.

 

If you are installing Citrix on a work-issued laptop (e.g., MNHC, UCSF), you will need to complete the installation through your organization’s IT department.

 

If you are running a Citrix version older than 1 year as of 2025, you may experience login failures.
I suggest downloading the most recent.

 

 

Here are the official release dates for the macOS versions:

  1. macOS 13 Ventura
    Released to the public on October 24, 2022.
  2. macOS 14 Sonoma
    Released to the public on September 26, 2023.
  3. macOS 15 Sequoia
    Released to the public on September 16, 2024.
 

 

Citrix Install Steps for Mac

 

For Personal computers, download the file to your Downloads folder, then run the program.

Wait up to 1-2 minutes to see the first prompt. Select Agree and follow the prompts.
